Dec 11, 1976 Halifax Chronicle Herald: NORTH SYDNEY - Cecil Morgan Bragg, 73, of 104 Brook Street died Friday at Sydney City Hospital. Born in North Sydney, he was a son of the late Morgan and Dinah (Lemoine) Bragg. He was a member of St. Matthew Wesley United Church and was Sunday School superintendent, member of Vesta lodge, IOOF, past grand and 40-year jewel; past grand conductor of grand lodge IOOF. He was a retired salesman for Canada Packers and served for many years as councillor in ward two, North Sydney. He was past president of Kiwanis Club, past president of the VON society and a former member of the Rotary Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Florence Herald; three daughters, Mary (Mrs. John Kibyuk), Margaret (Mrs. Hector Clark), both of North Sydney; Ethel (Mrs. Vincent Vienott), Bridgewater; five sons, George and James, Halifax; Morgan, Montreal; William, Toronto; Wayne, North Sydney; 12 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Bessie Burchell, and a son Russell. The body is at the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home.
