Some time ago I received a copy of a 30 page 'The Descendants of Alexander (Alasdair Saor) MacNeil' from someone on the list. The endnotes include references to the History of Inverness County, The MacDougalls of Judique Intervale, Gillises of Inverness County in the 1871 Census, To the Hill of Boisdale, Eoghan Dubh - A Pioneer's Family, and the History of Glendale Parish. I believe that it was sent either by Allan Gillis or Alex Gillis, but I may be wrong. I lost the original email when the server crashed, but I had saved the attachment. If it was you please contact me, the result is now 55 pages ....
