Hi Listers ,I have a queery re my GGGrandmother she died and was buried at Big Bras d~Or Cape Breton she died 21 -4-1884 we have aphoto of her headstone which reads " Margarety Shaw ?" beloved wife of "Robert Grant " native of Moray shire Scotland aged 69 yrs ' If the headstone bears her maiden name "Shaw" 'would she have been buried under her maiden name or what ?? and we believe th efamily was Presbyterian ,so where can I find ?? the nearest Church to seek information re her burial and would there have been a notice in any paper at all many thansk Terry Murphy [Brisbane Oz]
