Cape Breton Deaths July 07, 2008 Monday Funeral Notice Lillian MacEachern - Funeral Services for the late Lillian MacEachern, wife of the late Patrick MacEachern, 16 Ryan Street, Scotchtown, will take place on Thursday, July 10 at St. Leonard's Parish, St. Michael's Church at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in St. Michael's Hall. Robert McMullin 72, Howie Centre - It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Robert McMullin, which occurred on Friday July 3, 2008 at home. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Robert and Janie (MacIntyre) McMullin. Robert was employed with Devco for over 30 years until his retirement. In his pastime he enjoyed carpentry, spending time with his family and his best buddy, Pooch. Robert is survived by his loving wife and dear friend of 51 years, Catherine (Morrison) McMullin; children, Debbie McMullin, Bev McMullin (Doug Slade), Michael (Leslie) McMullin, Joe (Bobbi) McMullin, all of Ontario; one sister, Mary McMullin, Glace Bay; two brothers, Frank (Lorna) McMullin, Glace Bay, Mick (Brenda) McMullin, Petawawa, Ontario, as well as five grandchildren, Kimberly, Michael, Stephen, Alex, and Cody. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Cathy McMullin. At his request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Doncaster 87 - Gordon Doncaster, 87, of Taigh Na Mara Guest Home, formerly of Marion Bridge, passed away Saturday, July 5, at the Glace Bay Healthcare Unit. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Eugene and Kate Emma (MacDonald) Doncaster. Gordon was in the Royal Canadian Air Force, then employed with Priscilla's of Boston before his retirement. Gordon is survived by his sister, Pearl. He was predeceased by sisters, Eileen and Vivian; brothers, Earl, Norman, Ralph, Stewart, Murray and Lloyd. There will be no visitation. A private family service will take place with Rev. Fraser Mac- Donald officiating.
