Dec 20, 1993 Chronicle Herald: ROBERTS, Annie Matilda - 66, 10 Smith Ave., Cole Harbour, died December 18, 1993, in the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Bras d'Or, Cape Breton, she was a daughter of the late Neil John and Florence (Townley) MacRae. She was a caretaker at Colonel John Stuart School, Cole Harbour for a number of years. She is survived by two daughters, Judy (Mrs. Danny LaFitte), Ruth (Mrs. Ken Mosher), both of Eastern Passage; brother, Harry, Florence, Cape Breton; four sisters, Elizabeth (Mrs. George Carter), North Sydney; Margaret (Mrs. William LeBlanc), Azina (Mrs. Leslie LeBlanc), both of Alder Point; Christina Carroll, Florence; four grandchildren, Denelle, Erin, Joel, Jesse. She was predeceased by her husband, Sidney; two brothers, Phillip, Wallace. Cremation has taken place under the direction of J. Albert Walker and Sons Funeral Home, Cole Harbour. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Cole Harbour United Church, Rev. Sue MacAlpine-Gillis officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Bras d'Or.
