I was at the archives in Halifax today and was unable to get the following obits due to same being unable to read. One was very faint and the other one was crinkled in the corner and thus unreadable. First one is for Effie Belle MacLean SLATER, Published the Sydney Post Record 11 MAR 1952, page 3, lower right part of page. Second one is for Kenneth MacRAE. published in Sydney Post Record 2 OCT 1946, page 9. It is in the top right hand corner of the page and when photographed , the page was bent so that I could not get the info. It is only the first paragraph that I need. I have the second paragraph. I would appreciate SKS who might be at the Beaton in the next few days or has a copy of either obituary to forward same to me. Don
