Well, I'm not quite sure now on Edward Jessome, wife Eliza/Elizabeth and a son Thomas. Edward Jessome and Elizabeth Young are on the 1881 Canada Census as follows - and I can find marriage records at www.novascotiagenealogy.com for most of the listed children - all showing Eliza or Elizabeth Young as the mother. There's no Thomas, but he is old enough to have left home. Thomas' marriage record just shows Edward & Eliza as parents - so it could be either Somers or Young. Our Edward must have married Elizabeth Somers first, had Thomas, assuming Elizabeth dies shortly after, he then marries Eliza/beth Ann Young and has a zillion more children. If you find anything that either proves or disproves that theory, please let me know. I see you have Thomas Jessome as the son of Edward Jessome and Elizabeth Ann Young. Thomas' death record shows he was the son of Edward Jessome and Elizabeth Somers. death record of Thomas Jessome died Oct 27, 1927 Mill Creek, age 77 yrs 18 days, born Oct 9, 1850, cardio renal, French married, son of Edward Jessome and Elizabeth Somers, informant Thomas Jessome Mill Creek his son----NSARM death records on line. I suspect It is the same Edward who was married twice. Charlene > http://www.caronkin.ca/caron/4348.htm >
