    3. I am looking for the parents and grandparents of William Almon who married Mary Jane Howley. Their son, John Baptiste Almon married Mary MacDonald 12 May 1931. John Baptiste was born about 1909. Any help would be appreciated. Betty Almon Felhaber

This marriage is in NSHVS. William (born Aug 1873) and Mary (born Jun 1876) are in the 1911 Census.     3. I just checked the death records in NSARM and found the death of William Almon husband of Mary Jane (can't read last name). William Almon was born Oct 6, 1873 at George's River and died Oct 9, 1946 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Glace Bay of coronary thrombosis. His residence was MacKay's Corner, Glace Bay. His parents were given as Baptiste Almon and Mary Ann Morrison. The informant was William Almon, his son. married at St. Joseph's in North Sydney 1861/11/12 Baptiste Almond, s/o the late Baptiste Almond, & Jane Mclean, to Mary Ann Morrison, d/o Murdoch Morrison and Catherine McKinnon. witnesses: Mckinnon, Alan & Jane Almond & Murdoch Morrison Charlene On 21-Jul-08, at 4:56 PM, Betty Almon Felhaber wrote: > I am looking for the parents and grandparents of William Almon who > married > Mary Jane Howley.
