Thank you for responding, Maureen. Do you have any further information on this couple? Do you know the name of their children? I have found an obit for William listing 4 sons and 7 daughters. The daughter's names, however, are all their husband's names, no given names. He was 73 years of age and had been ill for the past two weeks. He is survived by four sons, William J.; John D.; and Alex, all of McKay's Corner, Ernest, Reserve and seven daughters, Mrs. Clifford Gibson, Mass.; Mrs. Clarie Douglas of North Sydney; Mrs. Thomas Hall, Sydney Mines; Mrs. William Smith, Reserve; Mrs. Alex MacPhail, Glace Bay; Mrs. Erwin Brown, McKay's Corner and Mrs. Thomas Robinson, McKay's Corner. Funeral arrangements have not been completed pending the arrival of Mrs. Gibson from the USA. and will be announced later. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
