Hi Maureen, Thanks for your reply to my query. Jackie has just advised who Mrs. Latimer's parents were, and that clears up the mystery. As you suspected, Mrs. Latimer's mother was a Boutilier, as was James Bannister's mother. They were sisters, from Port Caledonia, and distant relatives of mine through their mother (Sarah MacLellan).
