Hi Juanita Having finally tracked down my great-grandfather to Cape-Breton - he "disappeared" from Liverpool in 1907 - then I must heartily endorse your comments as far as online resources are concerned. I'm already indebted to the work of Maureen Burton McNeil and Wayne Macvicar, and I look forward to joining the Cape Breton Genealogy & Historical Association. I hope that will enable me to access any records that are not online, as well as being seen to support local history and genealogy in the area in which my great-grandfather lived for forty-odd years and ended his life.
