Monday, 25 Mar 1963, page 3, NSARM 1599 Stanley Tynski, widely known resident of 94 Bryant Street, died suddenly in St. Rita's Hospital. He was 54. Mr. Tynski was born in Poland and resided in Sydney for the greater part of his life. He was employed in the number three boiler plant at the Sydney Steel Plant. He was an active member of St. Mary's Polish Church and St. Michael's Benevolent Society. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Tynski, predeceased him. Mr. Tynski is survived by his wife, the former Helen Wojick, of Sydney, five sons, Stanley Jr., Ray, Bob, Ed and Michael, all in Sydney, five daughters, Rev. Sr. Mary Elaine, stationed in Kamloops, B.C., Mrs. Fred Currie (Florence), in Sydney, Frances, Helen and Raylene, all at home. Four sisters, Mrs. Frances Durkacz, Sydney; Mrs. William Pelpz [sic] (Katie), in Mass., Mrs. James Redmond (Annie), and Mrs. Joseph Wojick (Mary), both in Sydney, and three brothers, John and Peter, both in Sydney, and Tony, in Hamilton, Ont., also survive. The remains are resting at the family residence, 94 Bryant Street. The funeral will be held Tuesday in time for Mass of Requiem in St. Mary's Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
