Dan MacDonald officiating. Burial at a later date. _________________________________________________________________________ Theresa OíQuinn 84, North Sydney - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa (MacLean) OíQuinn of North Sydney. Her peaceful passing was Feb. 3, 2009, in the V.G. Hospital in Halifax, surrounded by her loving family. Born on Oct. 22, 1924, daughter of the late Hugh and Loretta (Cooke) MacLean of Sydney Mines. She was born in Sydney Mines and lived out her life in North Sydney. Theresa is survived by her husband of 64 years, Peter OíQuinn; sons, Dave, Art, Tony, Tim and Ted, all of North Sydney, and Leonard, Ontario; daughter, Brenda, Truro; and sister, Mary Whatling, Westmount. She will be sadly missed by her 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A service will be held at a later date.
