Vancouver Sun January 03, 2009 Saturday Michael Anthony Murphy - MURPHY Michael Anthony Born Glace Bay, N.S. on March 27, 1922. Passed away December 19, 2008. Survived and ever loved by his wife of 35 years Peggy; his four daughters Emerald, Shannon, Theresa (Helmut) and Patty (Dave); step-children Rick (Paige), Judy (Wes); grandchildren and great grandson. Mike was a proud lifetime member of the Pile Drivers Association Loc 2404. Heartfelt thanks for the wonderful care he received at The George Derby Care Centre. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 10:00 am on January 10, 2009 at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam.
