Jessome,William Hilbert, 79, - 203 King St, Florence- Mon Nov 21 1988 Died Monday morning in Sydney City Hospital. Born in Millville, he was the son of the late Patrick and Jesse (Coakley) Jessome and was a member of St Joseph Parish Bras d'or. He was employed at the Bras d'or Coal company and the Florence Colliery for 35 years. He is survived by His wife the former Viola Rasmussen Six daughters Doreen (Mrs Sonny Slade), Sydney Anne (Mrs Robert Selfridge), Kentville Phylis (Mrs Wilson Mansfield), Florence Emma (Mrs Dennis Crosby), Halifax Judy (Mrs Earl Laffin), Pictou Elma (Mrs Terry Jerrett), Sydney Mines Two sons Joseph (Bun), Bras d'or Simon, Florence Two sisters Regis Day, North Sydney Loretta LeBlanc, Millville And 16 grandchildren He was predeceased by One daughter Mildred in infancy Three brothers Patrick Alex Everett Step sister Annie Ross, Florence The body is resting at the GR Francis funeral Home, Sydney Mines this evening after 7pm. Funeral mass will be 10:30 am Thursday at St Joseph's Church, Bras d'or with burial in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St Joseph's Parish, Bras d'or cemetery fund or to the Nova Scotia Arthritis Society
