Born in South West Margaree, she was a daughter of the late Jim Dan and Catherine (MacLellan) Collins. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, South West Margaree. She was predeceased by her husband, John Alex; sisters, Sadie, Mary; brothers, Alex, Donald Archie, Patrick, Joseph, John, Allan. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Inverness Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Church, South West Margaree, Rev. Peter MacLeod officiating with interment in MacDougall Cemetery. Donations may be made to Inverary Manor.
