Mrs Chas Jessome dies in Hospital Sydney Mines, July 24 -Published CB Post Jessome, Mrs Charles 57, 75 Pitt Street, Syd Mns July The death occurred, in Harbour View Hospital on Thursday night of Mrs Charles Jessome, following an illness of several weeks duration. She had been a patient in the hostipal for the past four weeks and underwent a serious operation. Born in North Sydney 57 years ago, she moved to Georges River in 1927 where the family resided for ten years. Five yeas ago they moved to Sydney Mines, where they lived resided at 75 Pitt Street. She was well known and highly respected, a loving wife, mother and a kind and good neighbour and friend. Her Passing is deeply regretted by a large circle of friends in Sydney Mines and surrounding districts. Surviving are her husband Charles Jessome, four daughters (Jennette) Mrs Thomas Parfumourse, Boston, Mass. (Clara )Mrs Gordon Annesty, North Sydney (Bertha) Mrs Thomas Scott, North Sydney and Dorothy at home. Two Sons: Phillip and Byron at home, Also a stepdaughter Mrs Alex MacKinnon and Charles James Jessome, Gannon Road, North Sydney and several grandchildren. Her mother Mrs Catherine Young, North Sydney and two brothers Roy Young of Halifax and Seward Young, North Sydney, one sister (Annie) Mrs Walter Hall, Boston Mass. also survive. It is expected the funeral will be held on Sunday with burial at Saint Mary's Cemetry, Shore Road
