Walker Funeral Homes MAY, 2004 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ BILLARD, James Wesley Thomas BILLARD, James Wesley Thomas - 78, Indian Harbour, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2004, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late James Billard and Edna (Thomas, Billard) Fralick. James was employed for years with Glubes and EMI Cossor and in his later years with Dalhousie University until his retirement. He enjoyed music throughout his life, played various musical instruments, including the violin, guitar, mandolin, chord organ and the mouth organ. He is survived by his wife, the former Lillian Maxine Richardson; son, Kenneth James (Catherine), Calgary, Alta.; sisters, Lynn (Barry) Gibson, Timberlea; Edna (Elmer) Boutilier, Indian Harbour; Lillian (Kent) Crooks, Indian Harbour; grandson, Owen. He was predeceased by stepfather, Weldon Fralick. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy's Cove Rd., Tantallon. Funeral service will held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 8, in Indian Harbour Baptist Church, Pastor Michael Cannell officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Family flowers only.
