He was the loving and treasured son of Karen Worth (Murdock Cameron) and cherished and oldest grandson of Cyril and Florence Worth, with whom he shared a deep and special bond. He worked at Citizenship and Immigration Jason attended CBU in the Bachelor of Arts program and later attended NSCC in the computer program. Jason was truly a gentle and kind soul who cared deeply and genuinely about his family. Although his illness prevented him from travelling the world, he was incredibly knowledgeable and expanded his world through his expansive collection of books. He had the most brilliant mind and a wit that was truly amazing. He enjoyed reading, playing guitar, his album collection, video games and most recently began painting. His vast knowledge of hockey stats was impressive and yes, he was a Habs fan. Jason was a respected contributor to various hockey, movie and music forums. Although he spent much of his life battling his health issues, he never complained and brought tremendous joy to his family. He was an amazing inspiration to us all. Left to mourn his untimely passing are his aunts and uncles who loved him dearly, Linda (Reg Bezanson), Cyril Worth (Nathalie Keroack), Debbie (Peter Pickup), Kevin Worth, Glen (Shannon), Gina (Bobby MacArthur) and Kim (Scott MacLean). Also his many cousins with whom he shared a close relationship, Thayne, Jessie and Kate Bezanson, Evan and Julien Worth, David and Melanie Pickup, Allison and Joel Worth, Rowan and Tessa Worth, Emily and Ryan MacArthur and Joshua and Hanna MacLean and step-sister Amanda Cameron and her daughter Angelina. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. MacDougall and the staff of the Palliative Care unit at CBRH. A celebration of his life will be held at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Parish (formerly St. Joseph’s) on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow at S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, Alexandra Street, Sydney. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation or the Feral and Abandon Cat Society. “God puts us on this earth to be good and kind people. Dear sister of Simon (Pat), Jean Chiasson, and the late: Rita, Fred, Irene, Peter, and Margret.
