Kingston Standard WHIG February 17, 2016 Wednesday HOLLETT, Margaret - Passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on February 9, 2016 just shy of her 97th birthday. Marg was born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia on February 15, 1919 and in 1943 moved to Ottawa, Ontario where she resided for 60 years, working for the Federal Government. She was an independent, gentle and spiritual person who cherished her friends and family and loved to travel. As she reunites with many family members who have passed she will be greatly missed by those who remain on earth. Her family wish to extend our gratitude and appreciation to the Staff at Arbour Heights - City Park who cared for her the past 3 years and the nurses and doctors at KGH Emergency for their extreme kindness and grace in her final hours. There will be a private family celebration of her life on Monday February 15 in Kingston with the inurnment in Cape Breton later in the year. As expressions of sympathy contributions in her memory may be made to Dominion-Chalmers United Church, 355 Cooper Street, Ottawa or the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (Kingston General Hospital).
