She was born on August 12th, 1934, to Paddy and Tilly Roach in Inverness. Theresa was dedicated to her Catholic faith. She volunteered her time at the food bank. She will be missed by her quilting buddies and seniors club. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Susan (Kevin), Joan (Bob), Elizabeth, Barry (Lori) and honorary daughter and son Joan and Billy MacIsaac; cherished grandchildren Brandon (Amy), Kelly (Chris), Tara, Keith, Brian (Brit), Jennifer (Adam), Thomas, Bailey, Mitchell and great- grandchildren Isaac and Kalen. She will be missed by brothers and sisters Simon (Mary), Larry (Jeanine), Mary Catherine, Vonnie (Malcolm), Peggy (Ron), Jack (Ann); sister-in-law Dolena and by many nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her parents; husband Hughie; son John; brothers Bill, Peter, Gerard and Gerard ‘Tboy’; sister Judy; sister-in-law Rita and brother-in-law Sam. Visitation for Mrs. MacIntyre took place on Monday, April 25th at the Inverness Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, April 26th at Stella Maris Church with Fr. MacEACHERN Donald Alexander MacEachern (1922 - 2016) passed away peacefully at the age of 93, surrounded by his family. A gentleman and devoted husband to Sarah (nee Msrlian) for 59 years. A loving, active and dedicated father to Mary Belle, Loretta, Bruce, Donnie and Scott. Grandpa of Samantha, Adam, Ian, Greg and Matthew. Father-in-law of Lisa MacEachern, Lisa Cameron, Lisa Walley and Benny Romano. Son of Angus and Rachel MacEachern of Port Hood, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Brother of Rod, Mary Belle, Angus, Sally, Marie, Willy, Steve and Lonnie. A graduate of St. Francis Xavier University (St.FX) and Dalhousie Law School. Donald moved from Cape Breton to Windsor where he practiced law for 40 years. He offered his services to many boards and charitable organizations. Donald was an avid reader, golf enthusiast and loyal family man. He will be missed dearly. A funeral Mass was held in Guelph, Ontario. A Celebration of Life will take place in Windsor, Ontario at a later date, for our dear friends and family to celebrate Donald's wonderful life; details will be communicated at a later time. MacDONALD Cyril Francis MacDonald, age 61, of Port Hood. It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Cyril MacDonald which occurred at home on the morning of April 21st, 2016. Cyril was a son of the late John Dan and Katie Ellen (Beaton) MacDonald. For a number of years, Cyril was the manager of Apple Auto Glass in Port Hawkesbury. More recently, he was traveling to work in western Canada. Cyril had a deep affection for animals and was a big Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He is survived by his children Bradley and Katie and Bradley’s mother Francis. Also left to mourn are his brother Jeddy MacDonald; sister Dolly McDaniel; nephew Grant McDaniel; niece Judy Gillis and her children Kaitlyn, Jake, and Erica; and brother-in-law Clarence McDaniel. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Jean Gillis; sister-in-law Helen Jean Tracey-MacDonald; and brother-in-law Francis Gillis. Private family services will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Green’s Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Jim is survived by his wife Gail; children Sean, Kelly and Ava, Stephen and Beatrice, Evan, Bonnie and Cheryl, Blaine Harrington, and Danny and his new wife Heather. He was predeceased by his daughter Jennifer. Jim was a devoted husband, father and he was a born fighter. He will be missed.
