Brent Hall Born In: Sydney Born: March 6th, 1991 Passed on: April 27th, 2016 It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness, that we announce the sudden passing of a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend, Brent Andrew Hall, age 25, on April 27, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born in Sydney, NS on March 6, 1991, Brent was the beloved son of Wayne and Gail (King) Hall. Brent was a proud graduate of CBU’s Bachelor of Engineering Technology – Electronics and Controls; and looked forward to long career in this field. He was a quiet man, who enjoyed spending his time working on his computer or reading a book, but when it came to his vehicles – the louder, the better. He loved when people would tell him they heard him coming a mile away. A true "Hall Boy", with the perfect influence of his King family, he shared their love and passion of cars and bikes, and enjoyed the snowmobiling trips with his father and uncles. He had a special bond with his mother and was a fierce protector of his little sister, Marissa. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a fantastic cook. Combining the two, he had taken on the respected role of making Poppy's spaghetti and meatballs for the weekly Sunday dinners with his family. Brent will always be remembered for his amazing sense of humour, an unmatched wit and a smile that would brighten up a room. Brent is survived by his loving parents Wayne and Gail, sisters Marissa and Shera (Nick) Parsons, his brother Michael (Lauren) and nieces Greta and Sadie Parsons, whom he adored. He was lucky to have met the love of this life, Jessica Forrest, in High School, spending the last eight and a half years devoted to her. Also left to mourn are his maternal grandparents Dave and Joyce King, his uncles Dave (Nancy) King and Chris (Allana) King; his paternal grandmother Mary Hall, aunts Judy Hall, Lynn (Sheldon) Marinelli and his uncles Brian (Nancy), Lloyd, Gary (Gail), Glen (Yvonne), Eddy (Donna), as well as many cousins and friends. He will be sadly missed by family pets Daisy and Dexter. Brent was predeceased by his grandfather, Clifford Hall, his aunt, Sheila Hall and great-aunt, Barbara MacDougall. Visitation for Brent Hall will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Bras d’Or, with Fr. Peter McLeod officiating. A reception will be held in the parish hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice with the preference of an Organ Donation Foundation.
