Hi Maureen; Margaret Hunt d/o of Joseph Hunt, b. Feb 19, 1890 Mabou, d. 16 Jan 1918, Halifax, NS. She contracted pneumonia while caring for survivors of the Halifax Explosion and died. Minnie Hannah Hunt b. Feb 9, 1877, Mabou, d. Aug 1969, Richmond British Columbia, she served overseas during WWI and did private nursing in Vancouver. Seeing how there is abt 13 yrs between them, maybe that will help you determine which one graduated in 1915. I'd say the youngest one most likely. Hi- It's been a few years since I asked this, and I am still stuck in the same place. I am hoping someone can help me identify details about Malcom and Cathrain McDonald, who appear in the 1871 census at Munro Point. There are two couples with the same names, but I am looking for Malcom b 1826-28 and died before the 1881 census (though I can't find the details), where Cathrain appears in Englishtown as a widow. According to the 1901 census, Cathrain was born 4/4/1826 in Scotland and emigrated in 1851. She died before the 1911 census, though I can't find the death record. She and Malcom have children: Norman b 1853 John Angus (my gg-grandfather) b 8/3/1855, m 5/12/1885 to Johanna McDonald Catherine b 1859 Catherine Ann b 1862 Donald b 1864 John Angus moved to Sydney by 1901, but I can't find further information on any of his siblings. Any suggestions are very welcome-this dead end has been exhausting. Thanks!
