Some time ago I received a copy of a 30 page 'The Descendants of Alexander (Alasdair Saor) MacNeil' from someone on the list. The endnotes include references to the History of Inverness County, The MacDougalls of Judique Intervale, Gillises of Inverness County in the 1871 Census, To the Hill of Boisdale, Eoghan Dubh - A Pioneer's Family, and the History of Glendale Parish. I believe that it was sent either by Allan Gillis or Alex Gillis, but I may be wrong. I lost the original email when the server crashed, but I had saved the attachment. If it was you please contact me, the result is now 55 pages ....

Can anyone confirm the parents of this couple? Their daughter Elizabeth Gouthreaux married John Almon January 22, 1884. I believe the parents of Sylvester Gouthrtreaux are Jean Baptiste Gauthreaux and Modeste Gallant. The parents of Ann Gesseaux could be Jean Baptiste Jessome and Mary Rigby. Any comments would be welcome. Betty Almon Felhaber.

Thank you to all who helped with this find. Charlene, you have found the correct William. Looks like his wife's death registration is also listed on NSARM as Mrs. William Almon. Vince, you have given me information on that family which I did not have. Can you give me a website for All Call Iona Home? Thanks again.
