>From Yarmouth "Nova Scotia Past and Present": The new Wesley Church at Milton was opened and dedicated on Sunday, October 22d, 1865. The opening sermon was preached by Rev. Charles DeWolfe, D. D.; Rev. W. W. Perkins preached in the [p.532] afternoon and Rev. C. B. Pitblado in the evening. The building, with the ground, cost nearly $12,000. The spire of this church was taken down in October, 1894. You noted from DEATH record, was b. 23-Feb-1836, however in 1901 census, b. 15-Feb-1838 Charles DeWolfe m. 31-Jan-1837 Yarmouth, NS, to Sarah Bain (MUST be parents of Charles William b. 1838! There was also Charles DeWolf b. 18-Jan-1811, Yarmouth, NS, d. 1880, s/o Simeon DeWolfe and Clarissa Allen.
