I wondered if anyone can help me I just found out from a death certificate that Malcolm Henry GRANT was - Born: 1837 Nova Scotia, Canada son of Roderick GRANT I have no idea what they were doing in Canada when I thought they were from Scotland I would be very grateful for any leads to find information as I know very little about the Canada records. Hi Jill: This probably won't help you at all, but there was a Roderick GRANT, b. 1795 in Scotland, who shows up in the 1871 Census of Caribou, Pictou, NS along with wife Isabella b. 1802 in Scotland, son Roderick b. 1842 and sister "Siby" b. 1848, both in NS.
