Hi Everyone, I am trying to find out what became of one of my relatives. Ernest Murphy was born in P.E.I. in October 1905, and I was told that he was last known to be somewhere in Nova Scotia working for the A & P food chain. There is no marriage or death for him in the latest version of the Historical Vital Statistics from the Archives. Does anyone remember an Ernest Murphy in Nova Scotia anywhere who fits this description? Thanks, George Sanborn Charlottetown PE

Hello George, I don't know if this is your guy or not, but the Halifax Chronicle Herald published an obituary for:   Ernest Eric Murphy (Halifax) - obit. publ. on July 16, 1983 You can get a copy of this obituary by contacting the Spring Garden Road Library in Halifax - I believe they charge $5.00 per obituary or they may FAX it for free to your local library.
