Hello Jay: I would think he might be in Westmoreland County, New Brunswick? Can't bring up a Westmoreland, NS. Perhaps someone else knows if there is a Westmoreland in NS? I did find a Thomas Robinson in Cumberland 1861, sending a copy to you. There are 2 others in Halifax and one in Annapolis. That is all came up on Ancestry for me. 1861 census in Nova Scotia gives only head of household name with how many males and females. You can sometimes find more if you know the neighbors.
