Sue: You have run into one of the Schnare brick walls. Isaiah James Snair, was the son of James Schnare and Mary Brigley. Their marriage is recorded as November 29, 1877. From the vitals sight, it looks like her name was Mary Margaret. It is also obvious from the marriage register, that the marriage slip was missing, so no info on parents is given. That being said, it would appear from the 1871 census, that James, along with his brother Caleb, was living with a woman named Barbara Frail. Caleb's marriage in 1879 to Lucy Cleveland, lists his parents as John and Anne. But, we have two more names, but we still can't figure out who the John and Anne are. If you or any other people on the list know who this John and Anne are, there are many people who would like to know.
