    2. Hi Tanya: I have a little experience with Loyalist and Mayflower research in Nova Scotia. Here is a link for the Hankinson connection, you may find your place in it and then you would only need to prove back to that connection for Loyalist. UELAC only wants minimal papers - just one positive link between each generation from yourself to the ancestor. Mayflower is slightly different. They require B-M-D proof from you to the Mayflower pilgrim. You should submit their initial generation form online back as best you know it. ~$10.00. They will check their records and tell you if you are on the right path and offer proofs, if others if available, that will show how far your line has been "proved", then you provide the documentation needed back to that. They were very helpful to me and their genealogist worked to guide my research when I got stuck. RE: Hankinsons and Sabeans. Reuben Hankinson has been proved and accepted by UEL (his name is on their online list) Remember that Annapolis County initially included Digby County. http://www.hankinsononline.com/thirdgen.php http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nsdigby/obituaries/surh.htm#HANKINSON http://www.encyclopedia-titanica org/titanic-biography/thomas-william-hankinson.html Carol Harding
