You have instant access to a lot of oirginals documents, and therefore help to a) increase the accuracy of your own genealogy, and b) avoiding the perpetuation of millions of copy-cat errors that now abound on the :free sites" - however recognizing what amazingly great stuff is available for free line. Sorry this is just one of my pet peeves, just like the use of the term "direct descendant" drives me crazy (you are either a descendant or you are not - you are not descended from your aunts and uncles!
