Hello everyone: Does anyone have any more information on Maria Ernst, daughter of James Henry Ernst (born Bridgewater 1847) and Sarah R Hirtle (born 1850). The only record I've been able to find is the 1901 Census where she lived with her family in Preston, NS. I've been unable to locate her elsewhere. Does anyone have any further information on her? The Maria Ernst born 13 Jul 1882 in Preston, Halifax County in the 1901 Census living with James and *Annie*, not Sarah, and siblings William 1878, Arthur 1885 Gracie 1890 and Percy 1895 James Henry Ernst 21 and Sarah R Hirtle 20 were married 23 Oct 1869 Where have you searched besides the 1901 in Nova Scotia? bob gillis
