    3. I agree. After trying many combinations of letters in case of poor transcriptions/misspellings etc. I an certain that this family member is omitted from the Death Indices: "DOCKRILL, Joseph B. - There passed away suddenly at the Halifax Infirmary, early in the morning of December 19, at the age of 66, Joseph B. Dockrill, 25 Liverpool Street, Halifax. Mr. Dockrill was one of the original of the firm of Dockrill Brothers, well known in Halifax for many years as cabinet makers and antique dealers. Besides his wife, Annie, he is survived by one son, Harold Joseph, and four daughters, Jean, Claire and Margaret at home and May (...) of Truro. The funeral will be held from his late residence at 2 o'clock Friday, December 21, with Rev. J.D. MacLeod officiating. Internment will be in St. John's Cemetery." and "According to the cemetery office records of St. John's Cemetery, Windsor Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Joseph Dockrill was interred in Section A, Row 29, Lot 120-121 (family lot). Cemetery records list the date of death as December 21, 1945 (aged 66 years). The site is marked with a headstone." plus I have visited the resting site. I know that my information thus far is correct and I have tried both 1945 and 1946 (because of the holiday season that could have intervened). I am open, however, to whatever help may be offered to view the record with greatest thanks for any ... GORD
