Many normally law-abiding citizens were bootleggers during this period. I personally knew one family who were during Prohibition, plus for many years afterward. They always seem to know when the RCMP were coming to raid them. They would hide their wares in the beds with their children. The wife would tell the police if they woke the children there would be h*ll to pay. Mountie would just open the bedroom doors, look in, then close the doors again. Toni ~ Ontario
