Mrs. Groom was born and raised in Charlo's Cove, Nova Scotia. She moved to the US in 1946. In 1953, she married and moved to South Yarmouth MA to start her family. Mrs. Groom worked for the Cape Cod Hospital, Housekeeping Department, until she retired in 1996 after 20 years......Survived by three sons/wives John (Eileen) Groom of Mashpee, Stephen (Robbin) Groom of Dennis and James (Maryann) Groom of Mashpee. She was the sister of Thomas Richard, Charles Richard and the late Joseph Richard.
