Deborah ~ There is quite a lot of Peleg Holmes family information available at the Yarmouth County Museum. They are always happy to do searches - for a price, of course, but the easiest way to find out more about that is to contact their archives directly through the web site: http://yarmouthcountymuseum.ednet.ns.ca/archives.htm There is also a place in the village of Arcadia ( a bit northeast of Yarmouth) called "Holmes Hill" where the home of Peleg Holmes, Jr. still stands.
