Can't recall his first name. > Comeau You didn't say where your's are from: There were/are COMEAUs from North End of Halifax who owned a taxi firm for many years (think family still do), plus a beach area, with dance hall out on the Cobequid Rd, on First Lake in Lower Sackville in the early & mid-1950s. My cousin also married a Lloyd COMEAU of Halifax (distantly related to the previously mentioned family). Lloyd died about 25y ago, at a very young age .. 30-32. If you want further info on Lloyd's background, I could ring my cousin to obtain details. Toni

    3. Hi Judith -- I have a Vincent BRUN in my family line, B. 1611; Married Renee Breau (B. 1616) about 1644 (per 1671 Census of Acadia). I also am descended from Pierre Comeau B. 1606, D. 1690, Married to Rose Bayols 1649 (dau. of Nicholas Bayol of Dijon, France. The next generations are (2) Jeanne Comeau (B. 1659 at Port Royal) & Etienne Hebert; (3) Anne Hebert & Pierre Boucher; (4) Honore Boucher & Marie-Anne Mars de la Sonde of Port Toulouse); (5) Marie Josephe Boucher of Little Bras d'Or & Boniface Benoit; ......etc. I am seeking Edith Comeau Tufts and other living members of the Comeau line.
