Hi List, I working on CUMMING from NS. I would love to find some male CUMMING(S) descendants of Duncan CUMMING and Ann McNEIL. I have had my brother do the Genealogy DNA through FTDNA. We have tested all 67 markers. I am hoping to find a CUMMING who can trace back and would be willing to also do the DNA testing, either for 25 or 36 markers. There are plenty of CUMMING on the DNA Project on FTDNA Y-Search but these families are all from the Southern USA and do not come close to a match. This is not the same as a paternity test. It just requires a cheek swab, like seen on TV shows. Everything comes with the kit. The only thing that is required extra is to sign the release form so those who match up with you will be notified and you will be notified of matches. This is just another step in expanding our paper trails in Genealogy. It is the next thing in Genealogy research.
