My father had a saw-mill - that is why I mentioned the above. Otherwise, would there have been work like milling grain into flour?     3. Muriel -- Thank you! Would anyone know if there was a Fraser Mill in the Macon, Cumberland area in 1881 time frame or a hat shop or Fraser hat shop that Harriet could have owned or worked in? How far is Macon from New Glasgow that is where it is assumed Walter died he lived near his brother Alexander David Fraser that was married to Mary M. McGillivray. Wanda -- Could he have had a mill?
