Saint John Man Dies Suddenly John Jackson, Retired Merchant, Expires At Director's Meeting SAINT JOHN, N.B., Feb 13 - John Jackson, retired fish merchant died suddenly today, when attending a meeting of the directors, of the Saint John Municipal Home. The meeting had just been called to order, when Mr. Jackson was seen to slump down in his chair, a cigar in his fingers dropping to the floor. He passed away almost instantly. Mr. Jackson had not complained of illness. He was born in Boston, England, and was 74 years of age. He leaves four sons and one daughter, Harry P., and Richard P., of Saint John; Alfred J., Olympia, Washington; and William J., of Los Angeles; and a daughter, Mrs. Roy C. Fraser, Hebron, N.S.
