Plans are under way to hold a TAYLOR Family Reunion in 2008 to be held in Nova Scotia. No date or place has been established as yet, depending on the interest. Our Progenitor, Matthew Taylor 1690-1770 arrived in America from Ireland in 1721 and settled in Nutfield, New Hampshire. Matthew and his wife Jennat Wilson had 10 children, all but one born in Nutfield, New Hampshire. John Taylor b. 1721 in passage married to Margaret Dickie---had 5 known children Eleanor Taylor b. 19 Jan. 1723/24 married Samuel Archibald moved to Nova Scotia in 1762---had 12 children Agnes Taylor b. 6 Mar. 1726 married Samuel Fisher---had 4 children Matthew Taylor b. 27 Oct. 1727 married Elizabeth Archibald moved to Nova Scotia in 1762---had 11 children----this is my line Jennet Taylor b. 10 June, 1731 William Taylor b. 23 Mar. 1732/33 married Besty Grimes---had 8 children Samuel Taylor about. 1745 married 1)Sarah Fisher, had 1 child, 2) Eunice Lancaster---had 7 children including tripletts David Taylor b. 1735 married Margaret Kelsey---had 7 children Adam Taylor b.15 Aug. 1737 married Mary Cunningham---had 3 children Martha Taylor b. 17 Aug. 1739 With several cousins in the USA and Canada we should be able to have enough interested parties to make this a hugh success.
