Tuesday, November 9, 1943...The Halifax Chronicle, Halifax, N.S. MRS. HAROLD MACKAY PICTOU, Nov. 8 - The death of Mrs. Harold MacKay, of Loganville, Pictou County, occurred at Pictou. Mrs. MacKay, who was 36 years of age, was formerly Georgie Campbell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Campbell, of Logganville. She is survived by her husband, and infant daughter, and her parents, also by one sister, Mrs. F. R. MacKenzie, of Caribou Island, and by two brothers, Andrew, with the Canadian Forestry Corps in Scotland, and Murray at home. Another sister predeceased her 18 years ago. Following a short service at the home, the funeral was held from the Presbyterian Church, at West Branch, with Rev. Mr. Williams of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Scotsburn officating. Interment was in West Branch cemetery.
