    1. [NS-L] SNOW family - Cape Breton & Nfld.
    2. Pat Smith
    3. Please, are any Snow family researchers familiar with this particular branch? The following information appears in the 1911 Census, Cape Breton South, 19 Dominion, page 21: Family # 180 Snow John Head b. Mar 1865 ae 46 Miner " Emma Wife b. Jul 1869 ae 42 " Albert Son b. Oct 1880 [1890] ae 21 " William Son b. Nov 1895 ae 15 " Harvey Son b. Sep 1898 ae 12 " Lillian Dau b. Dec 1903 ae 7 " Robert Son b Nov 1905 ae 5 " G. Violet Dau b. Dec 1910 ae 5m Not listed, daughters Minnie/Minna, the oldest child, and Irene, place in family unknown. The religous denomination was Methodist. They are noted in this Census as having come from Nfld in 1900 but they do not appear to be recorded in the 1901 Census for NS. John was possibly born in Old Perlican, NF. Emma's maiden name may have been Pernell. I will be approaching The Beaton Institute, Sydney, and the Maritime Archive, St. John's, but any additional information would help. TIA Pat Patricia L.
