Chronicle-Herald, Published: 01/14/99 Page: D10 DOMINEY, Varina - Halifax, passed away January 13, 1999, in Fairview Villa. Born in Burgeo, Nfld., she was a daughter of the late Capt. James A. and Florence (Anderson) Guy. She was a longtime member of St. George's Anglican Church and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by sons, Ernest and wife Betty, Edmonton; Rodney and wife Marcella, Dartmouth; daughter, Shirley and husband Gordon F. Conrad, Dartmouth; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles V.; sisters, Dora Mercer, Annie Warren, Olivia Preston; brothers, Capt. Clayton Guy, Gordon Guy, Stanley Guy, Freeman Guy in infancy; son, Calvin in infancy; grandson, Daniel in infancy. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 15, in St. John's Cemetery. Memorial service will be 2 p.m Friday in Snow's Funeral Home, Windsor Street, Rev. Gary Thorne officiating. A reception will follow in Snow's Reception Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George's Restoration Fund, Fairview Villa Residents Fund or the charity of donor's choice.
