Not sure if this is a similar process, but when a webpage doesn't allow one to copy with the mouse and right-click option, IF the desired text can be highlighted, then highlight and use the menu bar version of Edit and Copy. When that doesn't even work, I sometimes (unless it would violate a valid copyright law) use Shift/Print Screen, then paste into MSPaint or some other photo/graphics program, and save it as a .jpg file or similar for later transcription. Just a couple "tricks of the trade"... I use Paperport to convert JPG to PDF files, then to MSWord files...time-consuming, but with only one finger to type with and one eye to see, I gets me by....'bye!
