His DOB listed simply as Sep-1844, Upper Prospect, and parents listed as John Power of Up. Prospect and Mary Jane White of same. He was buried 31-May-1921 at Mount Olivet Cemetery. His wife, Ann, had predeceased him. Annie died 02-Feb-1912, showing residence as Harris St., showing DOB as Sep-1856, at Prospect. Guessing prob. just 10 years off! Parents listed as James and Rebecca Coolin of Upp. Prospect. She was buried at Mt Olivet Cemetery on 04-Feb-1921. About four months before her husband. Power, Coolen, White, Duggan, and even Purcell names in Upper Prospect go back a ways. 1846 and 1848 School returns show several families. The POWER name likely goes back to Peter, Maurice, and Roger POOR. COOLEN appears to have originated as COOLING, with James.
