    3. Eastern Chronicle, New Glasgow, N.S., Tuesday, 17 Nov 1942: GOLDBORO The death took place last week in Goldboro of Mrs. Issac Clarke. She was an aged lady and she and her sister, Mrs. Mike Foley lived together in their comfortable home in Goldboro. She was a fine woman in every way, and her late husband, Issac Clarke, was also of the salt of the earth. Those of the Eastern Chronicle feel they can write authoritatively of the deceased. We recall Deborah Fenton before she was Mrs. Clarke and those memories are most precious for Debbie Fenton who helped care for the editor and the business manager, when they were so very young that they needed careful watching. A year ago we both called to see her and it was a happy reunion.Years were beginning to tell on the aged lady, but we looked forward to seeing her again. But it is not to be. That incident in life with its hallowed memories is now of the past. The little gracious woman who so well served her day and generation has been called to her eternal rest. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx H.
