Hi Linda: Yup, the John and Harriet RICHARDSON are the right people. I pretty sure, but wouldn't swear to it, that the Wm. H. CROOKS marker you cited is for the father of the William Henry CROOKS who is first h/o Harriet ;the uncertainty is because the dates on the marker (or at least the transcription of same) are off somewhat (so what's new about that?). The younger William Henry must have died bet 1873 and 1878 and supposedly died 29 Mar 1878. I finally found John W. RICHARDSON's civil Death Register entry, and he dies at Indian Harbour. But there doesn't seem to be one for Harriet, so the best I can say is that she probably died in Halifax County. Yes, since Matilda (CORKUM) EISENHAUER's death record says that she was born in Chester, which is where Harriet says she was born, and the dates fit, she could be the mysterious Matilda. But that would mean a second and also mysterious (at least to me) Michael EISENHAUER. :-) -----Bob H----- On 4/11/2010 3:49 PM, [email protected] wrote: > Hi Bob, > > St. Peter's Cemetery, Hackett's Cove has: Wm.
