    3. Hello, is there anyone who has a family tree of the Cookes of Guysborough and Goldborough in Guysborough County????? My question is concerning a Thomas Cooke who had a pub at Port Mouton in Queens County in the 1760's, and was mentioned in Perkins' Diary written at LIverpool. I am looking for a possible Joseph who would have been born circa 1790 give or take a few years, and wonder if any of the Cookes in Guysborough used the given name of Joseph? There was also a Thomas Cook at Port Mouton who married a Pierce. I am trying to establish if there is any relationship between the Port Mouton families and the Guysborough families. The Loyalists arrived first at Port Mouton and after the fire burned their homes, most of them moved to Guysborough County. I'm just wondering if some of them came back to Port Mouton??? Would appreciate any help or ideas. Thanks. Barb in Alberta
