    3. The Eastern Chronicle, New Glasgow, N.S., 10 Dec 1942: Mrs. MARGARET E. CLARK Pugwash The death of Mrs. Margaret E. Clark occured at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Susan Mills, Pugwash Point, with whom she had made her home since the death of her husband, Elmer Clark, sixteen years ago.She had been in failing health for the past two years and had been bedridden for two months prior to her death. Surviving are six daughters and two sons, viz; Mrs. Henry Forshner, Wallace Bay; Mrs. Charles Matthews, Birmingham, Michigan; Mrs. Frank Akerly, Birmingham; Mrs. Raymond Epstein, Thompsonville, Conn.(who was home for the funeral); Mrs. Mills at home;John Clark, New Glasgow; and Hugh Clark, Pugwash Point; also one brother, Thomas Edwards, Truro. 29 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren also survive. The funeral service was conducted by her pastor Rev. A. Reynolds and interment was made at Pugwash. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx JOHN ROBINSON River John John Robinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Robinson, formerly of River John died in Sutherland Memorial Hospital Saturday night in his 14th year. The lad's death occured under peculiarly sad and distressing circumstances. With his father, an employee of the Pictou Foundry and Machine Co.,Ltd., he had been staying on a boat moored at the wharf. When his father had to leave town for a few days on a job the boy was instructed to go to a boarding house, but he remained on the boat. He was suffering seriously from the cold of the unheated boat when found, and although rushed to the hospital and all possible aid given he died. His mother and four younger children are living at her former home in Springhill. The remains were taken on Wednesday morning to River John where interment was made at the Church of England cemetery. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx JANET C. CAMPBELL Sutherland's River The death of Miss Janet C. Campbell, a well beloved resident of Sutherland's River, Pictou County, took place at the home of her sister, Mrs. W.A. Campbell, on Wednesday, Dec.2nd, at the age of 75 years following a short illness. Miss Campbell was born at Broadway, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Campbell. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Campbell, one niece, and a number of nephews. An only brother, W.A. Campbell, predeceased her. The funeral service was held from the home and was conducted by Rev. C.R.F. MacLennan of Trinity United Church, New Glasgow, assisted by Rev. A.J.H. Fraser. Members of Dorcas Rebekah Lodge, Thorburn, of which the deceased was a lifelong member, conducted their commital service also.
